So, after I took a 3-month long hiatus from NG (and I'm bored), I'm back.
With Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rockband 2 coming out for the Wii (y console) around the 20th, I'm at a complete loss for which one to get.
Rockband 2 has more songs, is honestly more fun to play with others (judging from my past experience with RB1), but I royally HATE the HO/PO's in RB, and some of their covers are GOD-AWFUL (The Number of the Beast, anyone?) Also, since RedOctane isn't backing Harmonix anymore, the instruments fucking suck.
GH:WT has my fan-support, as I own every GH game and I like the challenege they give. WT is going to have all master tracks (a first time in the series), and over 85 of them, which is a LOT of songs. RedOctane is making the instruments, and the drumset looks really fucking badass (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXlMM7h l1hU , notice how it actually looks like a REAL drumset). The Music Mixer is going to be a cool addition to the game, and I LOVE making my own music, so that's definitely going to be a plus for me. Unfortunately, there is talk that the GH setlist is shit compared to the RB2 setlist, and everyone seems to think that it pretty much just ripped off of Rockband.
So, as of right now, I'm slightly leaning more towards Guitar Hero, but that might quickly change soon.
So, I ask you: If you plan to buy either one of these, which do you plan on buying? :3
I leave you with my favorite song off of Rockband. Have a nice day!

One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you
Don't do anything at all
Go ask Alice
When she's ten feet tall
And if you go chasing rabbits
And you know you're going to fall
Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar
Has given you the call
Call Alice
When she was just small
When men on the chessboard
Get up and tell you where to go
And you've just had some kind of mushroom
And your mind is moving low
Go ask Alice
I think she'll know
When logic and proportion
Have fallen sloppy dead
And the White Knight is talking backwards
And the Red Queen's "off with her head!"
Remember what the dormouse said:
"Feed your head
Feed your head
Feed your head"

I get ANOTHER flat tire. This time I play it safe and call Roadside Assistance, costing me $75 and 2 hours.
The road is covered in snow, but I get through it easy (ha, I'm from Minnesota, a foot of snow won't stop me!).
